email print
After his problems with injuries this season, Stefano Mauri has spent a month in Germany to seek a specialist. This morning Lazio's official website reported that Mauri's treatment is over and he will now return to Rome. Mauri has received supervision from German Dr . Hinterwimmer and Lazio's team doctor Stefano Salvatori. Now that Mauri will return to Rome it is time for him to slowly start training again and hopefully be available for coach Reja later in the season. The doctors at the German clinic expects a surgery like this to take six weeks to recover from:

"Stefano Mauri might be able to play again in early February if everything goes well."
