12/12/2011: Zarate nominated for Bidone d'Oro award
email print

On loan striker Mauro Zarate has been nominated for the Bidone d'Oro award following his performances so far for Inter...however it is nothing to be proud of.

The award is actually given to the worst player of the year and is voted for by fans as 'joke' version of the Ballon d'Or.

Zarate has found himself on the list following his less than impressive start to his Inter career and will surely find it difficult to get a permanent deal with the nerazzuri.

Zarate is joined by fellow hopefuls (or unhopefuls...): Amauri, Eduardo, Melo, Milito, Forlan, Mutu, Krasic, Toni and Silva.
