04/03/2011: Miccoli: Palermo will fight against Lazio

Last week's flop against Udinese saw sweeping changes in Sicily, as Delio Rossi was ousted and replaced by Serse Cosmi.

Miccoli feels the new air offers incentive to be at their best against the Roman side.

"President Maurizio Zamparini has given us a massive kick, and we have to react instantly," Miccoli told the press.

"I know Cosmi from long time ago and he lives for his work. He will help in giving us a hand so we can return to being good.

"We have players with great quality, and if we have the right attitude then we can play against anyone."

Lazio are trying to cling onto fourth place, a point ahead of Udinese.

"It will not be an easy game, but we are preparing it in the best of ways," he added.

"We want to show our real value, trying to impose our play like we have always done."

The clash at the Olimpico is the final game of the Italian weekend, kicking off at 20:45 CET on Sunday.
