According to Italian media, Lazio are close to sign the Uruguyan striker while Genoa deny interest in Parolo and the Zarate case is still unsolved.
The name of Emiliano Alfaro, the Uruguayan 23 year old striker playing for Liverpool de Montevideo has suddenly been mentioned in the media. According to Sky Sport 24, Lazio are the closest to signing the player after an original interest from Udinese and Palermo.
It is rumored that what tipped the balance in favor of the biancoceleste is the joint offer submitted by Genoa and Lazio to sign the player on the basis of co-ownership.
Meanwhile Genoa's president Preziosi has denied the club's interest in the player, whether this makes Lazio the closest to the player remains to be seen as it has been rumored that Lazio were interested in the summer.
On another hand, reports linking Zarate to a move away from Inter has been intensifying. The fact that Zarate has had his best times with Delio Rossi caused the reports to link Zarate to Fiorentina, an opinion shared by Jose Alberti who thinks that Zarate will join Fiorentina in January.
Another opinion was given by former Laziale Giuseppe Wilson who said: "Zarate is a great talent and Lazio has invested a lot in him, they must try to make use of him in the remaining part of the season, I think Lazio should take him back."
