06/01/2012: Lukas Podolski: I will not be rushing a move in January

German striker Lucas Podolski hinted he will not be moving in January. According to www.corrieredellosport.it he said: “ I will not be affected by external factors in deciding where to play next season. I hope to reach important goals with Cologne and score more than last year. My next goal is to play a huge role at the European championship in Poland, the country I was born in and my dream is to win the tournament. It would be fantastic. As to my future – there is still time”. These words put ice on many teams which include Lazio and Arsenal.

The Biancoceleste prepare for the clash with Siena. On yesterday’s session bad news came up as right back Konko was forced to train differently due to a calf injury. How ever there was some good news also. Andre Dias was finally able to do a full training session. Klose worked only in the gym, but only as a precaution. Hernanes also played a full session and he will probably start Saturday.
