29/02/2012: Reja: I need 11 lions for the Derby
email print
After the morale boosting win over Fiorentina the passed weekend, Lazio coach Edy Reja has his eyes set on the Derby. “I hope to find 11 lions on the field, because Roma are a good and fast team and we are not at our best. Lulic will not play.”

On top of all his injuries Reja must think on the players called up for their National Teams. Klose, Hernanes and Gonzalez, three vital players for Lazio, were called up and joined their sides. “I’m worried – Reja admits – and above all I hope that Gonzalez doesn’t run out of energy. I hope Klose doesn’t start Wednesday against France.” Hernanes already played for Brazil against Bosnia. Players that will miss the derby for sure are Rocchi, Cana, Brocchi and Lulic. Stankevicius, Radu and Konko are trying to gain fitness to take part.

Edy Reja is not fooled by the Roma loss in Bergamo: “We will try to win again, but we must watch out for Roma. The main responsibility will fall to Totti and De Rossi. Two experienced players to give confidence to a young and good team. We will try to contain them.”
