Only three players were involved in national duties this night, and luckily for Lazio none of them played for 90 minutes.

Hernanes: Played on Tuesday against Bosnia & Herzegovina in Switzerland. Started the match for Brazil but was substituted early in the second half. Could not contribute much for a Brazil side that won 2-1.

Alvaro Gonzalez: Started on the bench for Uruguay in the match against Romania. El Tata came on in the 69th minute for Walter Gargano and played for 20 minutes in a match that ended 1-1.

Miroslav Klose: Started alone up front on a poor night for Germany against France. Was taken off at half time, and even if he received a knock he should be fit to start the derby on Sunday.

Stefan Radu and Senad Lulic were also called up but had to stay in Rome since they are both injured.
