Edy Reja was more than happy with Lazio’s win over Napoli. He spoke for Sky: “We suffered in the first half, but in the second, with the addition of Gonzalez we had more balance.” The victory was dedicated to the late Giorgio Chinaglia. “I liked him very much. He was great, a leader. We could not give him a better present.” Reja also stresses out the many lost points: “It is a shame we don’t play with the same intensity against teams, which are within our reach.” Edy also spoke about the upcoming game against Juventus: “It will be an easy game, considering their condition…” – he joked with the reporters.

Then Reja spoke about the situation, when Pandev was brought down by Cana in the penalty box: “Sometimes they give it, sometimes they don’t. On Napoli’s goal there was a foul on Ledesma, but it was unseen. But I have promised myself not to speak about the referees, also because I’m often expelled. I need serenity and calmness to avoid creating further tensions, which by the end of the season, do not serve well for the team.”

Reja also focused on Candreva: “He’s a player with extraordinary capabilities, he’s a complete player, just needs to find confidence and his precise placement. I’ve always liked him. He wasn’t accepted very well here. He is a sensitive boy. He often received boos and it’s not easy for him. I hope after the goal, the climate will improve for him” – finished Reja.
