Stefano Mauri spoke to the Sky reporters after last night’s game. “I was lucky, I saw the cross coming and I tried. I hit it good. We are pleased, because we come from series of bad games, before that result. We went on the field with another spirit, knowing this team never dies.  We have more points than Udinese and Napoli for the third place. We must not miss a Sunday. We must stay focused, because when we do something good we relax and them we make a bad performance. Wednesday against Juve we must put the same spirit to achieve our goals.”
Mauri also stated the game was for Chinaglia: “He is a symbol for these colors, we played for him and I think he saw it!”

Lazio president Lotito was also on the high note after the game: “Lazio deserved the victory this game, because we are a strong-willed team and a strong group” – said the president for Mediaset Premium. Lotito went yet again defending Reja in front of the reporters answering with: “The questions you ask were never asked by Lazio.” The Lazio president went on hailing Candreva, after his good performance: “Candreva scored, did a fine a fine goal and this shows, that the choices of the Lazio are revealed over time to be accurate, despite some criticizing in the beginning.” Lotito also commented on the next game against Juventus: “We can’t deny it. Juventus is in best form from all the teams in the Championship. I hope they don’t create many difficulties, but if Lazio plays the same way it will be a good performance and the fans will be pleased.”
