01/05/2012: Lazio could be without the Olimpico for Europe?

After failing to agree a deal with Coni, it looks possible that Lazio could be without use of the Stadio Olimpico for European football next season.

An agreement needed to be in place by Monday for Uefa to grant the club a license, however the two parties are yet to agree on anything.

Coni president Gianni Petrucci told ANSA News that "the more time passes, the more i realise that with some people it is impossible to get along"

It is now understood that Lazio officials have flew to Sicily to discuss using Palermo's Renzo Barbera Stadium for next season's European fixtures, wether that be in the Champions League, or Europa League football.
