  06/07/2012: Yilmaz set for Galatasaray?
email print

In the last hour, a number of reports from Turkish media have suggested that Galatasaray and Trabzonspor have reached an agreement over Burak Yilmaz. More worryingly, the player himself has said he is 'tired of waiting and ready to choose Galatasaray."

Lazio have been struggling to find an agreement with the Turkish club. Lotito is willing to pay the release clause for Yilmaz but not in the single payment fashion that the terms demand. Where possible, Lotito prefers a staggered deal where he pays clubs in three separate installments, ensuring that Lazio never find themselves stuck for cash in any given season.

Likewise, Trabzonspor want the moeny upfront if they are going to lose their biggest asset and Galatasaray appear to be giving them what they desire.

Yilmaz said last week that he was "80% certain" he would go to Lazio. Now that he has run out of patience, the odds have surely decreased.
