After three victories in a row and first place in the standings, expectations were high when Bollini and his boys went south to play Juve Stabia.
Lazio started out as the better team and created two big chances early in the first half from Cataldi and Vivacqua. The second half started in the same way with Lazio creating chances, but it was Juve Stabia who took the lead after a goal that perhaps should not have been allowed since it was unclear if the ball was over the line.
Lazio quickly responded with a free kick from Falasca. Juve Stabia were also reduced to 10 man so Lazio tried that best to get a final goal, but the final score was 1-1.
LAZIO (4-3-3): Di Piero Serpieri, Ilari, Vilkaitis, Philippini; Cataldi, Falasca, Crecco; Vivacqua, Rozzi, Lombardi
Luckily for Lazio both Napoli and Roma surpisingly dropped points so Lazio is still sitting on 1st place. Roma played 2-2 at home against Vicenza, while Napoli lost 3-0 away against Pescara. Lazio are on 1st place with 10 points, Napoli on 2nd with 9 and Juve Stabia on 3rd place with 8 points. Next week Lazio have another tricky challenge ahead with an away fixture against Catania.
