06/10/2012: Gazzetta: 'Lotito takes no pay'
email print

Following the release of the numbers for the financial year 2011/12 the Northern newspaper compares the management salaries of Lazio and Juventus.

The result shows that Lazio, a limited company, is probably one of the most unique in the world in that none of the 7 directors receives a penny in pay. This includes President Claudio Lotito.

Compare this to Juventus where Beppe Marotta alone earns 1.65 million Euros. Fellow board members Aldo Mazzia and Pavel Nedved earn 390,000 and 200,000 Euros respectively.

There are also stark diferences in the net profit amounts of both clubs. While Juventus made a loss of 48.6 million Euros, Lazio on the other hand turned a profit of 580,000 Euros.
