19/11/2012: EXCLUSIVE: Gazza to be Guest of Honour

Paul Gascoigne, or 'Gazza' as he is affectionately known will be in Rome as Lazio's guest of honour as the capital club welcome Tottenham Hotspur to the Stadio Olimpico.

Media relations manager Stefan De Martino will be talking to LazioStyle Radio in a matter of minutes to confirm the news. Gazza will arrive in Rome on Thursday morning and will tour LazioStyle HQ and Formello before visiting the Stadio Olimpico to view Lazio's crunch tie with another of his former employees, Tottenham Hotspur.

Gazza, who has long battled against alcoholism, was unable to attend the reverse leg having suffered a relapse and earlier today, his management sought to quash speculation by insisting that Gazza could not visit Rome as he had commitments early on Friday morning. However, it now appears as though his management company was keen to simply keep things under wraps.
