La Repubblica and Corriere dello Sport carry the story on Tommaso Rocchi's move to Inter. Although not yet official, it is clear that Tommaso himself views himself as Inter property. A 'decision for the future', according to the Venetian striker:

"I need to be considered, and at the end of the season, I want to keep playing football. The vice-Milito? At Lazio, I am not even vice-Klose."

"Lazio is second, but I hope Inter can be second. We will fight to the end, the Championship is still open even if Juventus are strong."

"I am happy, feel good and I am looking forward to it. If I am here, it is because I have something to give. Leaving Lazio after so many years was a difficult choice, but maybe this is just goodbye. Maybe I will return someday under a new guise."

Corriere dello Sport also focus on Lazio's offer to Chelsea's Champions League winner, Frank Lampard. The Englishman is out of contract is the summer and Claudio Lotito is hoping to snare him from underneath the noses of others, including Inter. A three-year deal is proposed - a long contract worth 7.5 million to the player in total. Lampard would have to slash his current wage by half, but Lotito is hoping that a three-year deal will tempt him to see out his playing career in Rome.

Tuttosport report on the Zarate situation. Zarate's agent, Luis Ruzzi has declared war on Lazio. He has asked the club to lower their price on Zarate so that he can move to an interested party that is as good as or better than Lazio. According to Ruzzi, Fenerbahce is not one of those teams although Genoa are attractive, but only on a short-term basis if a buyer wants to loan out his client for a six month period.

Meanwhile in training, Petkovic has a full squad at his disposal aside from Zarate and Ederson, who is recovering from a left adductor injury. Marchetti and Candreva are not 100%, but both should be ready for Cagliari.
