19/02/2013: Inzaghi: "Difficult to play after Europe"
email print
Former Lazio striker Simone Inzaghi gives his opinions after the latest loss against Siena. Simone is currently manager of the Allievi youth squad at Lazio and has watched with others as Lazio's form has dipped over the last weeks.

"Against Napoli Lazio had to win, but were unlucky. Yesterday evening however, we must consider how difficult it is re-energise after playing in the Europa League. Not surprisingly, all the teams playing in Europe struggled".

"Aside from that, Siena played a great game with a beautiful goal from Emenghara. It was not easy to find space as Siena closed us down really well. Now we have 2-3 days to regroup but these results give us determination".

"Monchengladbach and Pescara are two teams who we should beat on paper but we must be careful. Pescara will also not give us anything".
