  06/03/2013: Petkovic press conference

"Stuttgart are a good team. They have had problems recently but they are very compact and physically good, especially at home. My team must be aware of it's own strength and continue the positive performances in Europe. This tie is not conclusive but it can help shape the second leg".

Lazio go into this tie in poor domestic form, having only won once in 2013.

"Lazio have proved it's worth several times. Even in the last match, it is clear why we lost but we played well at the start. We need to keep our heads for 90 minutes and remember that there is always the second leg. We have to try to score but not to suffer as we have 180 minutes to play".

Petkovic was asked whether he was worried about Lazio's away form:

"No, I'm not worried. There is a difference playing away but that is the same for every team. The great teams are the ones who try to replicate the performances at home when they are travelling".
