20/04/2013: Biava Set to Leave Lazio
email print

According to Il Tempo, Giuseppe Biava looks set to decline a one-year extension to his current deal with Lazio in favour of a move elsewhere.

It is reported that the centre-back, who will turn 36 before the end of the season, wants to finish his career playing somewhere closer to home in Bergamo. Both Parma and Genoa have shown a strong interest in acquiring his services for next year and Biava is likely to explore these options between now and the end of the season.

Biava has agreed a deal with Lazio in principle but has yet to put pen to paper and if Il Tempo are accurate with their report, he is very unlikely to do so at this moment in time.
