Felipe Anderson is owned 50/50 between Brazilian club Santos and a British firm. It has long been reported that Santos are willing to sell to Lazio but the UK company are proving to be the sticking point. Santos vice-president Odilio Rodrigues told reporters:

"We have received an offer from the biancoceleste. 50% of the player is owned by us and the other by a British company. The latter has rejected the proposal from the Italian club. So the deal has basically been missed."
