Diego Martin Novaretti is now a Lazio player. The Argentine, who moves to Rome from Toluca in Mexico, becomes the second official signing of the transfer window following the acquisition of Colombian forward, Brayan Perea.

Novaretti (28) arrived in Rome yesterday and took a tour of Formello before his name had caught the attention of the Roman media. The surprise signing has told the media that he hopes to be the surprise of the forthcoming season.

More information will become available this afternoon when it is believed that Novaretti will sign a 4-year deal worth 600,000 euro per annum. There is no transfer fee to be paid to Toluca as Novaretti is out of contract.
