Player Discipline is another issue in Italian Serie A. We all absolutely hate the diving and writhing around and cheating. This is something that is very difficult to deal with, because most of the teams are doing it. We really don't know what to do, as in many cases, at a split second, it is very difficult to tell whether a player is fouled or diving, and it's very easy to get it wrong.

Many have stated that they want to clamp down on ''simulation'' but there have been occurred in many cases of an attacker going down with the defender not getting a touch on the ball, where it's clearly a case of either being a foul or a dive, and neither being called and play being allowed to continue. We understand that players call fall over or go down where it's not a foul, but there are plenty of occasions where this is not so, and decisions aren't being made.

We really don't know what we can do about this. Many teams and players just have no qualms about cheating to win, and that's very sad.
