Lazio vice-captain Ledesma spoke to the media during a press conference in Auronzo. Ledesma said to the microphones:

"We can not constantly live the final victory over Roma, we started a new 'ritiro' for a new season, you have to put your head in the right place and look forward. We won the final against Roma but what was not done well last season must be improved on. We can bring our experience from the Europa League and learn from our mistakes."

Lazio's first objective will be the Supercoppa against Juventus in August:

"It's a source of pride because many teams would like to be there in our place. Juventus are a strong opponent, the game means a lot."

Lazio have brought in a number of midfielders this summer, Lucas Biglia has been billed as a vice-Ledesma, Cristian had this to say:

"He is welcome, I see him as a new partner who will help to make the team stronger. The coach will then decide: if Biglia proves to be stronger than me then the world does not end if he is played. Hernanes is important to have with us. He has won a major tournament with Brazil and is resting after demonstrating that he has more to give."

Ledesma was asked about Zarate and his attack on Lotito mentioning the 'dome' which included 2-3 players:

"It doesn't bother me and I don't want to answer because the situation has been pursuing for so long and has still to come to an end. There is little to say when he did not mention names. When everything is decided then we can evaluate. Nor is there disappointment, I know Mauro. He should understand if he said something or someone had got in the way."
