It had been one of those never ending stories in media. Lucas Biglia, currently in Argentina's national team starting eleven cruising to the World Cup in Brazil 2014, had decided to leave Anderlecht after seven seasons and move to Serie A and Lazio. The fans of the capital outfit had been awaiting the arrival of the player, who joined the team in Auronzo di Cadore less than a week ago - without being confirmed a Lazio player.

Late last night it was then finally stated by sslazio.it that the 27-year old, who has chosen to wear his preferred number 5 jersey the coming season, has signed a five year contract with the club, tying him down until 2018.

LazioLand.com welcome Lucas Biglia to the first team of Rome and wish him all the best on his new adventure.
