Andre Carrillo, a 20 year old player with high quality, is now a summer transfer target for Lazio. He is rumoured to be the new Kaka of Peru and has represented Peru with the Under 20 team.
Igle Tare has seen a DVD about the player and now is trying to bring the player to Rome amongst competition from other European clubs.
His agent Elio Casareto has been in Italy for two days and has met with Tare, the Lazio Sporting Director, to discuss the possibility of signing Carrillo. Apparently the two parties are in good agreement so far, an agreement that is being aided by Philip Colasanto who brought the player to Italy.
Speaking Exclusively to LaLazioSiamoNoi.it, Colasanto said: "I met with Tare two weeks ago and I brought him a DVD about Carillo. Tare liked him and we gave Lazio the priority, despite the fact that many clubs are interested in the player, clubs such as Ajax and Groningen."
"We met with Lazio a few days ago again and Lotito likes the player. There are also other clubs such as Napoli who are interested but Lazio are in pole position now. They have taken the issue seriously and are ahead other clubs."
Details are still not released, no numbers no due dates are yet available. All what we know now is that Lazio are interested and are trying to move closer to signing an agreement. When asked about his characteristics, Colasanto answered: "He reminds me of Andre Suazo, he plays on the left and is more like a second striker. He resembles Zarate. I am positive he will do well in Italy."
