  02/08/2013: The Perea delay
email print
Brayan Perea expected to be training with his new teammates but instead is still sitting in Colombia.

The young forward is still awaiting his move to the Italian capital despite finalising the deal in February. As Perea is a non-EU player, the club must first free a spot before he can join up with his new teammates.

The problem began with Dias. The Brazilian had requested a transfer to Brazil to return home to be near his family and has since u-turned and decided to stay. This would have freed up a space for Perea to come, so the club are looking elsewhere in the squad and it seems that Nigerian Sani Emanuel is the player Lazio are looking to move on.

Felipe Anderson arrived as Carrizo's move freed a space but the club had not anticipated Dias' change of heart.

Meanwhile Perea waits in Colombia...
