Corriere dello Sport talk about a 'surprise' in Lazio's mercato. Sergio Floccari could be set for a move to the Premier League. The 31 year-old striker has only one year left to run on his current deal and as Lazio continue their search for a 'vice-Klose', it could be Floccari rather than the unhappy Libor Kozak who is shown the exit door. The newspaper speculates that Paolo Di Canio's Sunderland are interested, but that is merely a suggestion.

However, the newspaper also reports that Kozak has a 'suitcase in hand'. Lotito wants 8 million, but Kozak just wants to leave with Hamburg and Werder Bremen leading the chase. It seems more likely every day that someone has got to go but if Corriere dello Sport are accurate, Lotito would rather relinquish Floccari than Kozak. As for the 'vice-Klose' speculation, Cagliari's Mauricio Pinilla is leading the race now that Matri is set for Napoli. Other options include Alberto Gilardino, Gonzalo Bergessio and Maxi Lopez.

In other news, Antonio Candreva has told La Repubblica that he wants to remain at Lazio for as long as possible and that, contrary to previous reports, he has not requested a salary increase.
