30/09/2013: Dias: "Happy for the goal, but not the result"

Speaking to LazioStyle Radio after scoring the opener with a well-taken header, only to see victory slide away soon after, André Dias said he was happy with his goal, but not the end result:

"I train every day because I want to prove my worth to this Lazio. I am happy for the goal today, but not the result. After we got the goal, we went a little quiet and too calm. The championship is difficult, but we have quality. Even today, the team gave its all but on this occasion, we could not bring home the three points."

"Compared to last season, we have not changed much. Many young people have arrived and perhaps we have not found the synergies and have not found our maximum within the 90 minutes."

"I was not angry after the goal. I just wanted to show how much the goal means to me, my team and my family."

In the 'Mix Zone', Dias spoke more about Lazio's opponents and the game itself:

"A team that goes to Naples and gets a draw is not just any team - it is a team of quality. In the first half, we did not play our best but we improved in the second half and broke down their doors. After the two goals, the quality disappeared and we were too relaxed, and Sassuolo were stronger than we expected. Perhaps playing two games in one week has made us more fatigued and that is normal."

"The championship has just started. I don't think it is time to focus on making Europa League. I think we can do much more."
