Also in the Primavera Roma were unbeaten until today, but Lazio managed to stop the run of the lifetime that the lesser side of Rome has been on this season. Only three points behind before the game and now on equal points Bollini has managed to keep a good quality in a side that lost many of the star players after the Scudetto win last season.

At Trigoria it was two teams fielding the very popular 4-3-3 formation that went head to head. Crecco and Elez, two players who have been included in Petkovic's match squads on numerous occasions already this season, stood out in the game for Lazio - but it was Roma that got the upper hand in the first half.

After an initial push by Lazio that controlled the game in the first 15 minutes Roma were rewarded with a penalty at 20'. Di Mariano managed to beat Strakosha and give his side the lead.

The rest of the half was instense and both teams could have added goals to their sides. Lazio went closest with ten minutes left as Pollace found Lombardi who unfortunately could not get the equaliser for Lazio.

The second half started with Keita being introduced and Lazio took over the game after this. The lively attacker created chances for himself and for his team mates, but did not manage to open the scoring before a penalty was awarded.

Fiore was fouled on and the referee pointed at the spot, with the Roma players protesting heavily. Elez stepped up and slotted home 1-1 and now the chase for the three points was on.

Keita did have a hand in the winning goal, despite not getting hsi name on the score sheet today. With a nice cross the Spanio-Senegalese found captain Serpieri who got Lazio's second ball in behind Proietti.

The rest of the game did not see many scoring chances and Lazio nicely controlled the remaining 15 minutes. As the referee whistled in the 96th minute the winners were again Lazio and the players celebrated like the Scudetto had been won again.

Line-up Lazio:
Strakosha, Pollace, Ilari, Serpieri, Filippini, Oikonomidis (81' Murgia), Crecco, Elez, Lombardi, Fiori, Paterni.
