14/04/2011: Carrillo blocked, Lazio remain the priority

Andre Carrillo, the 19 year old Peruvian forward, was thought to have signed for Lazio. His agent, Elio Casareto, announced today that the transfer is currently blocked.

The Peruvian club are waiting on the final say from Lazio, who are now evaluating whether to sign Carrillo on loan with an option to buy at first.

"Carrillo is blocked" said agent Casareto. "Lazio is considering it's strategy, we will firstly consider Lazio's offer then evaluate others. It is important to note that there are other destinations available for Carrillo like the Netherlands as Groningen are interested but Carrillo is motivated at the prospect of playing in Italy. Lazio is a great club"
