The Brazilian has been on the wish list of several top clubs around Europe for the past few seasons, and speculation in recent months has suggested that Lotito could indeed receive a January bid or two for the fan favourite.

Joseph Lee (Hernanes’ agent) spoke to
Lalaziosiamonoi to update the press and fans on what the midfielder’s plans are;

"Hernanes is having
a great time in Rome and is very happy at Lazio. He has a contract that he intends to respect and comply with and therefore we see no problems", stated Lee.

When asked about the rumoured interest of clubs including Milan, Arsenal and Tottenham, Lee’s response was; "At times there was interest, but nothing concrete. No one has put forward any proposals for my client and I repeat, he is happy to be playing at Lazio".

The 28 year-old Hernanes signed for Lazio in August 2010 and has a contract until the summer of 2015. Since his arrival from Sao Paulo he has established himself as a regular first team player and is a popular figure in the blue side of Rome.
