  25/01/2014: Reja: "Great performance"

Edy Reja maintained his unbeaten run since returning to the bench in late December. Juventus had the chance to record a 13th straight win but Lazio held them to a 1-1 draw and even hit the woodwork twice. Reja said in his post match interview:

"We had a great performance. We started badly, for 20 minutes we were under pressure and were too nervous. We were better in the second half and were unlucky with hitting the woodwork twice. We could have won the game, it would have been nice. I was hoping we could have made it as Klose had a few good chances."

"We tried to take the numerical advantage but they have big-time players, it is not easy to keep them down. We knew we would have difficulties in midfield and upfront where Llorente and Tevez are difficult to mark. Somehow we lagged at the restart, I was hoping for something more."

Marchetti's presence on the bench may have raised eyebrows as he has been linked with Milan in the last few weeks but Reja assured it was the player's decision to sit out as he still isn't 100% from a virus. Berisha was again trusted in his place.

"Marchetti had physical problems during the week and I saw his face was a little pale before the match and he confirmed he still wasn't fine. To play Juventus you need to be in top shape and he was not. Berisha was not just good, but great. He gave us security, he is clam and knows how to deal with crosses."
