Edy Onazi featured for Nigeria in their 0-0 draw with Mexico playing the full 90 minutes. Edy looked lively, running alot but was unable to penetrate through the Mexican midfield.

It was a disappointing night for Antonio Candreva as not only did Italy lose 1-0 to Spain but the winger failed to make any sort of impact. His match only lasted 45 minutes and he was replaced by Andrea Pirlo at half time.

With even less time on the pitch was Alvaro Gonzalez who only got introduced in the 82nd minute against Austria.

Lucas Biglia's Argentina drew blanks against Romania with the midfielder coming on in the second half but it was better news for Senad Lulic who looked dangerous and had a few solid chances in his nation's 2-0 loss to Egypt.

Both Lorik Cana and Berisha featured in Albania's 2-0 win over Malta. Cana played in his usual centre back position and completed the full 90 minutes while Berisha was replaced after 86 minutes.  Strakosha also featured in the Under-21's 3-1 win over Austria.

Despite sitting out of Lazio's win in Florence on Sunday night, Miroslav Klose took to the field against Chile. The German is still trying to get the record of national top goal scorer but was taken off at half time and remains on 68 goals.

Danilo Cataldi played a part in Italy U-21's 2-0 win over Northern Ireland. The on loan midfielder impressed as he continues his development through the ranks. Lazio Primavera's Luca Crecco played 45 minutes for Italy U-19s drawing 1-1 with Germany.

Finally a special mention for Filip Djordjevic, who is expected to arrive in Rome this week to finalise his transfer, as he scored the second goal in Serbia's 2-1 win over Ireland.
