19/03/2014: Protests set to continue as Lotito plans response
email print

The Curva Nord and Lazio fans in general are expected to continue their protests against Claudio Lotito at the Stadio Olimpico against AC Milan this weekend.

The plan will see the Curva Nord refrain from supporting the team during the first half, instead displaying banners which will ask Claudio Lotito ten questions. In the second half, normal service will resume.

The plan is believed to have been inspired by AC Milan's bitter rivals Inter, who protested against former own Massimo Moratti in this fashion last May. To a certain extent, it will also remind AC Milan of the close relationship between Lazio and Inter fans.

Interestingly, it is reported that Claudio Lotito has his own plan in place. From today, the club will unveil videos of the players pleading with the fans to get behind the team and there are unconfirmed reports that the club will put the slogan 'Together For Europe' across the jerseys this weekend to remind fans of the importance of their support.
