17/04/2011: Delio Rossi: "Lazio is a past that I am proud of"

Lazio former coach Delio Rossi came to Rome and won with his Palermo side 3-2. The win has prevented Lazio archi rivals AS Roma from approaching Lazio in the standings, and now the biancoceleste have a chance to widen the gap to 7 points should they be able to win against Catania today.

Asked by the reports after the game at Palermo about his feeling that his win now has helped Lazio, Delio Rossi was very disturbed by the question and answered with anger: "I don't get paid by Claudio Lotito, I get paid by Zamparini, so my thoughts are focused on Palermo. Lazio is part of the past now, a past that I am definitely proud of, but it remains a past."
