Ahead of the clash with Inter this weekend, Edy Reja took some time out to speak to Lazio Style Radio;
"We will try to win against Inter. I talked to my team and told the boys that we must continue to believe in the Europa League and we have to go to Milan with the conviction and the right mindset".
"Unfortunately we have lost some important points. We focused more on some victories than we should have and maybe if we had a few more points we would be in a better position. Since my arrive I have been happy with the results but in some vital moments we did not take the final decisive step", stated Reja.
"However, I have a good feeling about the Inter game and I know that the team will want to play the game of their lives at the San Siro".
Reja was then asked about the current defensive frailties and the amount of goals conceded (ten in the last four games);
"It is the mental factor that affects us. When we go ahead we cannot seem to maintain the same intensity as before scoring ourselves. We need to find the solution to these limitations quickly. Inter will be very difficult to play at their stadium and will not make mistakes so we all need to be aware and cautious throughout", concluded Reja.
