Stefano Pioli gave his first press conference as a Lazio coach at Formello:

"Me and my staff will do our best to achieve something good with the team."

"Lotito offered me a contract for two years but I wanted to sign for one and if we do our job good and qualify for Europe it will automatically be renewed for one more year."

"I am here to work and to help the team get back on the right track. I want my team to play good football and get results."

Pioli also added that there will be changes in the team and that some of the best players will most probably leave.
