Lazio president Claudio Lotito insists he has a deal in place with Parma for Marco Parolo. Lotito is desperately trying to appease fans by building a team that he claims will challenge for the Champions League.

After signing Djordjevic and Basta, as well as attaining 100% of Candreva, Lazio have turned their attention to Parma and World Cup midfielder Marco Parolo. Lotito told LA7:

"We are in negotiations for Parolo. We have already reached an agreement with Parma, now we have to wait and see what the player wants to do."

It is reported that there is about 200k Euros between Lazio's proposed wage and what Parolo wants. Lotito went on to talk about his work done at Lazio:

"Today's Lazio is different from the one I took over and rescued from collapse. It is one of four teams in Serie A who are profitable and won silverware."
