Giusepee Biava spent the last four seasons of his career at Lazio and now at the age of 37 he wants to go back home in Bergamo to be close to his family and possibly play for Atalanta.

His contract with the Bianoceleste expired at the end of May and since then Biava is in Bergamo with his family expecting a contract offer from Atalanta where he wants to finish his career.

His agent Giorgio Parretti spoke to lalaziosiamonoi.it about the proposed contract extension he was offered by Lazio:

"Lazio offered him a lifetime contract."

"There is a verbal agreement with Atalanta for a contract with Biava but nothing official so far. Slowly but surely things are working in the right direction."

If Biava doesn't sign a deal with Atalanta he might end his career despite the interest of other clubs from Serie A. Next week everything should be revealed.
