30/08/2014: Curva Nord set to return?

Il Messaggero are claiming that the Curva Nord will return to the Stadio Olimpico as of September 14.

The fans have been protesting against Claudio Lotito since January of this year, but there have been signs that this method of protest may come to an end. The attendance against Bassano Virtus in the Coppa Italia was encouraging, but the Curva Nord remained adamant that they will wait until the end of the transfer window before making a final decision.

The transfer window closes on Monday evening, and there are no obvious deals in the pipeline. That has enabled the fans to contemplate the next course of action and according to Il Messaggero, they have decided to return for a number of unspecified reasons.

Season ticket sales are currently at 8,000. Lazio will be hoping to triple that in the coming weeks and have therefore extended the deadline for purchase from September 2 to September 19.
