New signing Filip Djordjevic spoke to the media as he looks set to start his first game for Lazio at the weekend. The Serb was introduced against Milan last week with the team already 3-1 down but looked lively. It is now likely he will start against Cesena this weekend. Djordjevic told le10sport.com:

"I spent 6 years with Nantes, but I knew it was the right time to go. At Lazio I feel good. It's a shame we lost the opening game of the season. During the pre-season I scored a lot of goals, this gave me a lot of confidence. I think I have acquired a good level of fitness, I have already made a lot of progress."

"I am surrounded by quality players here, I must continue improving all of the time.
