Joseph Minala is currently playing in Serie B with Bari and having returned from injury to play his first game for the club he was interviewed by calciomercato.it:

How is the adventure in Bari going?
"Let's say I'm settling. At first I got injured and this did not allow me to train regulalry with the team. Now I am back and waiting for the right opportunity to prove my worth."

How have you found (coach) Mangia?
"Well, he considers me a lot. I recently had the opportunity to play my first game with Bari, the society believes in me so much. I need to find my best condition, I am working for this and I am convinced that the results will come."

Your goal for the season?
"Winning all our games and getting to Serie A"

Let's take a step back. Your story has been heard around the world, who do you feel the need to thank?
"Everyone, especially in Italy and Cameroon. The people who never abandoned me. Lazio and Mr. Bollini, he immediately believed in me. I am indebted to so many people, it is my duty to do well."

How do you explain the negative period that Keita and Tounkara are going through?
"I know them very well, they are friends. It is a situation they can overcome. They must find the right motives, it's just a matter of will. The talent is unquestioned and they will soon prove it."

Where do you see yourself in a few years?
"I want to return to Lazio to be a protagonist. Now I'm at Bari, it is a great chance for me. But my dream is to return to Rome, at this moment I do not think of any other teams."

And the national team?
"We truly hope, I'm waiting for a call for the African Nations Cup".
