04/11/2014: Fatigue sets in at Lazio

Club doctor Roberto Bianchini has stated in an interview with LazioStyle Radio that both Antonio Candreva and Lucas Biglia had to sit out a training session today due to fatigue. Miroslav Klose also required special treatment as he felt the effects of yesterday's hard-fought 4-2 win over Cagliari.

Bianchini also made it known that illness ultimately kept Stefan Radu out of the Monday evening game, rather than the injury to his lower back. He has a high fever and stomach problems, but he should be fit for Empoli.

In other news, both Dusan Basta and Keita Balde Diao are expected to begin training again on Wednesday, but they will be on their own regime. It is unclear at this stage if they will be available for Empoli, but another member of our medical team suggested last week that Basta could miss Empoli as a precaution.
