05/03/2015: Candreva: "We know that our fans are our twelfth player and that without them we can’t win"

Antonio Candreva shared his thoughts about the 1-1 draw with Napoli in front of Lazio Style Channel:

“We are disappointed of the result. We played really good against Napoli in the first half but our form dropped in the second half. I feel sorry that we couldn’t close the game in our favour in the first 45 minutes. I think that during the season we have shown everyone that we can play good against the big teams. The weather conditions were tough and the field wasn’t in great shape. We have to reload our batteries and be ready for another big game against Fiorentina”.

“I change my position with Felipe very often during the game because this is a way to make our opponent feel uncomfortable and that they don’t know where I or Anderson will be in our next attack. This is what Pioli wants from us”.

“It won’t be easy to play at San Paolo. I can surely play better and give more to the team but I still have some physical problems after the game against Palermo”.

Which do you prefer – third place or a Coppa Italia final?

“I’d prefer going to the Champions League”.

“Today we saw so many fans at the Olimpico in a midweek game and in such bad weather conditions.  We know that our fans are our twelfth player and that without them we can’t win”.
