Lucas Biglia shared his thoughts in front of SkySport’s camera after the 4-0 victory against Fiorentina:
“For two and a half months Fiorentina are playing two games a week and have only a couple of days to rest. This was a great test for us. We did well and everything the coach wanted from us. This goal was a result of a lot of hard work. We train for such things every day. Sometimes it goes in, sometimes it doesn’t. This time it went in and I’m glad it did. Second place? We are fighting for Europe and we will continue this battle until the end of the season. Our main target is to qualify for Europe. If we managed to finish second it will be great”.
“We also want to reach the Coppa Italia final. Our goal is to go to Naples and fight for victory. We need it”.
“We are doing well at the moment but nothing is done. We still have games to play and we still have battles to win if we want to achieve our goals. Our next game is against Torino and it won’t be easy. We have to think game after game. This is the way we can achieve our goals”.
Biglia also shared his opinion about his young and talented team mate Cataldi:
“Last week a former player said that Danilo can become one of Italy’s most important midfielders in the coming 15 years. I think the same way. He knows his place, he isn’t flying in the sky”.
