As the club heads into the big clash with Inter at the Olimpico and also the final push of season 2014-15, Felipe Anderson took some time out to speak to Brazil’s portal Lancenet.com.br about playing alongside Miroslav Klose, the remainder of the season including the Roman Derby, and his time at Santos;
"When you are younger it is vital to play with a top player and goal scorer like Miro in the team. It is important to listen to his words as his experience is unmatched and he is always available to help. I have learned a lot from him and will learn much more, he was one of the secrets of my explosion at Lazio this season. He told me always to stay calm, work hard and believe in myself and even during the games he tells me to keep moving around the field to create opportunities and confuse the opponents", stated Anderson.
Lancenet.com.br then asked Anderson about the expectations that were placed on him when he was a teenager at Santos;
"People expected a lot since from me since I was about 17 years old. I was in Santos at the time, one of the biggest and best clubs in the world and with the number ten jersey, and I managed to play 110 games there. That experience has today shaped me".
The derby and the usual media attention on Totti is approaching;
"He is great player, a World Cup winner, who has made some history in football. Everyone respects him and he remains an idol of his Roma fans. I have great respect for him and what he has done for his club. The derby will be special as always and we badly want to win and to finish the season in second position, this is our goal and God willing, we will succeed. But we can succeed only thinking game by game. The city of Rome lives a lot for this game and the fans speak a lot of the derby. For me as a player the dream is to play and win it", concluded Anderson.
