Former Lazio goalkeeper and coach Dino Zoff spoke to Leggo.it about the biancoceleste's chances before the upcoming game against Juve.

"Lazio is the favorite to win the 4th place, they are now 4 points clear of Roma which is a considerable advantage. What is important now for Lazio is to keep this distance ahead of the game against Udinese the week after. Looking at the three teams, Lazio, Roma, and Udinese, I think Lazio are the favorites." said the former Lazio player and coach.

Asked about the biancoceleste's drop of points in the recent games in Milan and Naples, Zoff said: "Had they been two victories, Lazio would have been celebrating the qualification to the champions league. But nothing is lost, Lazio can still achieve the qualification come the end of the season."

Zoff's opinion about the upcoming game on Monday when Lazio will host Juve at the Olimpico:
"While Lazio might have the advantage, Juve will be very determined to fight until the end."

Finally asked about his assessment of Edy Reja, Zoff said:

"In Rome, the future of the coach is always being discussed, but look at Lazio's position in the standings, that is enough to silence the doubters. And if you ask me if I am surprised by Lazio this season, I would tell you no, because I believed since last season, that Lazio have good players that are worthy of an advanced position in the table. Hernanes's arrival definitely added to that."

Zoff is not the only one who thinks Lazio are the favorites to win the 4th position at the end of the season. AS Roma's Marco Casseti, declared to Ansa.it that the biancoceleste have the advantage of the second team of the capital in snapping the qualification to the Champions League but assured everyone that AS Roma will do their best to take that position themselves.
