Stephan Lichtsteiner is still under contract with Lazio until 2013. However, according to German press reports the Bavarians are seriously monitoring the player in hopes of bringing him in. While Tottenham Hotpurs' interest is most likely due to seeing the Swiss as a replacement for Gareth Bale who most likely will be leaving at the end of the season.
