email print

After being followed by Lazio, Atalanta, and Groningen, Andre Carrillo finally signed for Sporting Lisbon.

The fee for the transfer was not announced, but the confirmation has been made by both clubs.

Carrillo spoke to the press and explained why he chose Sporting Lisbon: "I chose Sporting because they are one of the biggest clubs in Portugal and great footballers come out of the club, which influenced my decision. I want to do something identical to Figo, Cristiano Ronaldo, Nani or Quaresma. I may not have the same characteristics, but perhaps I have others. I want to grow to become an elite player. My mentality is to become a great player."

This is the end of the trace that led to Andre Carrillo, as the end of the season is approaching, Lazio is surely to be linked to many other players and LazioLand will keep you up to date with the latest.
