16/05/2011: Viviano or Sorrentino should Muslera leave
email print

Fernando Muslera still has not renewed his contract with Lazio and time is running out. If an agreement is not met soon then the biancoceleste will have no option but to sell him this summer. In case, Lotito is already scouting his possible heir.

Current Lazio keeper Berni has confirmed that he will leave as Lazio have not renewed his contract and looks set to join Napoli to be De Sanctis' understudy. Lazio on-loan 'keeper Carrizo is not wanted back in Rome but is wanted in Argentina by River Plate and Velez.

It is understood then that Lazio are keeping tabs on former Primavera player Sorrentino, currently at Chievo. The 32 year old has a contract with Chievo until 2013. The other possibilty is Emiliano Viviano, co-owned by Inter and Bologna. Lotito has already initiated talks and it is believed that Viviano would welcome a move to Rome.
