Tommaso Rocchi spoke to Lazio Style Radio about the final push for the dream of qualification to the Champions League, but the striker admits that it is mission impossible.
"We will try until the end," said Rocchi. "There is still hope, but if you are to be realistic, I think Udinese can at least get a point from Milan."
Rocchi however expressed his satisfaction for achieving European qualification: "We have sealed the qualification to the Europa League, and that is very important. The game against Lecce will be to cement our position, as finishing 5th is very important to avoid the early qualification stages and postpone our games till the end of July."
Rocchi admits though that there is some regret as Lazio was flying high in the standings for most of the season: "We have always been in the top positions, and to fail in achieving the champions league qualification, one can only be sorry. There were some games where we could have achieved more. But this must not let us forget to celebrate the excellent season we had. Before the season started, no one thought we will be where we are !"
Finally Rocchi spoke about his personal season: "It was nice to get back on the score sheet. I had a tough year, and I nearly missed all of the second leg of the season. I hope to play more and to score more goals" concluded Tommaso.
